This week, I started working on a custom wedding invitation order with a lovely papercut detail on the front pocket. It’s my first wedding suite booked in for this year – and after the madness of having back to back wedding projects last year, it was nice to have a little break. I feel like I’ve come back to it all with a renewed energy and the dreamiest ideas.
I just love how this invitation has turned out - it’s small and intimate, and very distinctive in lovely rich plums and lavenders. But for now, it's all about papercutting...
Have you done something creative today?

ohhhhhhh I love it. I haven't tried a paper cut yet. I do love stationery! Have you heard of the new paper online mag called Paper Runway? first issue just out - free!!
Exquisite!
Beautiful. I have much admiration for the paper cutters of the world. I just don't think I'd have the patience and the steady hand for such intricacies!!
Hope we get a sneak peek of the invite. x
Wow that looks pretty. I too hope we get to have a preview!
Am so glad it's so loved! Yes, will definitely post a follow up photo of the completed suite :)
And thank you for the info on Paper Runway, Rosalind - it's so beautiful! I spent more than an hour pouring over it in all it's delicious loveliness instead of papercutting. I might just go back for another quick look now... x
I've never done any papercutting, but I'm always wow-ed by it when I see it. Yours is no exception. Beautiful!
